The Global Business Practicum experience would be one of the highlights in my master program. The opportunity to work extensively with senior management at a multinational firm is a rare experience in itself. I'm glad to say that it was through this program that my latent interest in entrepreneurship was discovered.

Dr Ben Neville
Dr Ben Neville

Dr Ben Neville is Program Director of the Master of Commerce (Management & Marketing) at the Melbourne Business School. 

Dr Neville is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management & Marketing. He researches and teaches in the area of sustainable business, including corporate social responsibility, business ethics, ethical consumption and social entrepreneurship. He addresses these issues from strategic, ethical and critical perspectives. Overall, his work represents a pragmatic stance about working strategically with business to improve sustainability, while recognising the corporate, market and political structures that contribute to these issues.

 


I am driven by a passion to see students develop into inspirational, successful leaders. In classroom settings, I strive to weave the topics I teach into the wider fabric of industry and commercial exchange, to ensure their clear relevance and use. To strengthen students’ self-efficacy beliefs, I aim to create a supportive, trusting atmosphere in the classroom – a safe haven for interpersonal risk-taking. Prof Liliana Bove

Professor Liliana Bove

Professor Liliana Bove teaches the core subject of Marketing Management and an elective subject Service Management at MBS. Liliana has won numerous international awards for her research on customer relationships and frontline employee welfare. She is passionate about bringing customer insights into the strategic management of an organisation, and focuses on ways to enhance customer experiences and wellbeing.

Prior to her academic career, Liliana held scientific, marketing and management roles over a ten-year period in the chemical, airline and health industries. In 2009, she took leave from the University to work at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service as a Major Program Leader for Donor and Community Research.
